William Stobb is the author of six poetry collections, including You Are Still Alive (2019 42 Miles Press), the National Poetry Series Selection Nervous Systems (2007 Penguin Books), and Absentia (2012 Penguin Books). He holds an M.A. in Creative Writing from the University of North Dakota, and a Ph. D. in Rhetoric from the University of Nevada, Reno. Stobb works on the Creative Writing faculty at the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse, and as Associate Editor of the literary magazine Conduit and its publishing arm, Conduit Books and Ephemera. Along with his family and his dog, he lives along the Mississippi River, in the Driftless Area of Southwestern Wisconsin.
